Ante el acoso contaminante de las guerras rescatar las actitudes de arte

Y en la medida en que la Clemencia, la Misericordia y la Bondad están con nosotros, en el sentido de incorporarlas –incorporar esas palabras- al estar, al relacionarse cotidiano, estaremos vibrando en la evolución del vivir hacia la consciencia plena de nuestra naturaleza: Misterio Creador.
El acoso contaminante de las guerras, en sus facetas más resaltantes –como la economía, la espiritualidad, la arrogancia, la demostración de poderío-, pudiera parecer que queda como un acontecer lejano o ajeno, aunque pensemos que estamos exentos de ser contaminados por estos aconteceres que parecen turnarse según planes ignorados.
Acontece que esa disputa de humanidad, en su contagio, nos puede ir convirtiendo en practicantes guerreros de diferentes índoles, precavidos y desconfiados, hasta el punto de que nos puede sorprender el porqué de esa actitud.
Pero la humanidad –como la vida en unidad-, ante cualquier acontecer… en el ejercicio de la vida, se hace porosa a todas las criaturas.
La Llamada Orante nos advierte acerca de las actitudes y respuestas que nos pueden hacer y convertir en guerreros, en combatientes, en predominantes… por ese contagio creciente que cada vez nos rodea más.
Y es así que la conversión debe estar en permanente actividad, con un sentido purificador, ante la aparición inesperada de actitudes guerreras, combativas.
Y, en consecuencia, cuando acontecen, tener el temple necesario, primero para darse cuenta… y aminorar posibles respuestas de carácter violento.
Y a la vez, ser bálsamo a otros que, contaminados por ese poder, tratan de mostrarlo como algo… necesario.
La Llamada Orante nos promueve, ante estos aconteceres, con actitudes –además del estar atentos y cuidar el aliento conciliador-… nos remite a comportamientos y actitudes de arte.
Es decir, aproximarse a cualquier actividad con la actitud artística, con la actitud de resaltar lo virtuoso, lo impecable; con la disposición de crear ambientes, situaciones de gozo, de alegría: puntuales momentos que hagan posible un ejercicio de vida que nos preserve de ese contagio, de esa advertencia. Ese estar en la Clemencia, en la Misericordia y la Bondad permanente.
Y esa disposición de arte es la que nos puede dar la respuesta a la pregunta habitual: “¿Y qué hacer ante todo esto…?”.
“Arte”.
Esa calidad que se ha resaltado en otros momentos como el referente de intenciones y de realizaciones, precisa –y así nos lo transmite la llamada- de una disposición artística.
Habitualmente, “eso del arte” se fue y se va remitiendo cada vez más a corpúsculos que, obviamente, se hacen cada vez más inseguros y atípicos porque han perdido su aroma guerrero: el que demanda el presente.
Y aunque también pueda contaminarse el arte, difícilmente queda abolido por la guerra.
Aunque no es lejano el recuerdo de “El Arte de la Guerra”, ya no se emplea esa expresión, pero late en el poderoso, en el combatiente, el lograr una victoria resplandeciente, con una estrategia impecable. Es decir, llevarlo a la categoría artística.
Manuales, libros y documentaciones ilustran ese “Arte de la Guerra”.
Y es ahí precisamente donde debemos rescatar el arte como expresión de amor del ser.
El arte, como la precisión del aroma amable del momento.
El arte como “encarnarse artístico”, puesto que somos un diseño de arte y la vida es un diseño de arte.
Y es así que, en cualquier manifestación que se realice, se evoque la perspectiva artística: en la actitud corporal, en la vestimenta, en el adorno, en el andar, en el alimento, en la palabra…
La Llamada Orante nos advierte de que no podemos dejarnos llevar hacia el arte de la guerra o hacia el arte sectario de unos pocos, sino a recuperar nuestro sentido creador de arte. Y ver, desde el minucioso arte estructural de nuestra forma y de las formas diferentes de vida, hasta el mínimo hacer, responder o escuchar.
Y con el arte –nos advierte también el Misterio Creador-, “la imprescindible actitud creativa”.
Hemos sido creados y somos creadores. Con lo cual, con ese soporte del arte, con esa atención de la porosidad del contagio, con ese cuido del ejercicio de la Clemencia, la Misericordia y la Bondad, con esas respuestas adecuadas a actitudes guerreras, con esas posiciones de disolver el arte de la guerra y adentrarse en la espontánea muestra de arte, añadir… –que más que un añadido es una necesaria continuidad- esa creatividad, ese toque… que modifica, que amplifica, que expande cualquier actitud habitual de arte.
Porque, sí, puedo hacer una canción, un poema, un adorno floral, un plato exquisito… pero, con todo ese arte, hay que incorporar ese “toque personal”…; esa singularidad, como expresión singular de lo que somos dentro de una unicidad: Misterio.
El creer, el recrear, el creativizar… y ser una consecuencia del Misterio Creador –porque esa es nuestra naturaleza- conlleva esa singular originalidad que, al menos por un tiempo, por un instante, permanece y se repite, pero que siempre tiene el anhelo de saber que hay algo más.
Ese “algo más” que, al creativizarnos a través del arte –“el arte de vivir”-, nos acerca… valga la palabra “acercarse”, pero mejor sería nos hace vibrar más en nuestra naturaleza de Misterio Creador.
Con la alerta de saber, como práctica –“con la alerta de saber, como práctica”-, que siempre falta un detalle, o cabe la posibilidad de un detalle, estaremos con esa ayuda en la creatividad, en lo creado.
Y una vez teóricamente completada la actitud artística, plantearse: “Pero admite un detalle”; que podrá salir en el instante o luego o más tarde, pero la importancia trascendental del detalle hace que la realización del ser como arte –como arte creador, de creación, de Misterio Creador-… hace que nuestra vibración de consciencia se incremente, se amplifique, se sintonice con este universo que se expande y se muestra incontenible.

Amid the contaminating onslaught of war, we must reclaim the attitudes of art

And to the extent that Clemency, Mercy, and Goodness are with us, in the sense of incorporating them –incorporating these words- into our daily being, into our daily interactions, we will be vibrating in the evolution of living toward the full awareness of our nature: Creative Mystery.
The contaminating harassment of wars, in its most prominent facets –such as economics, spirituality, arrogance, the display of power- might seem like a distant or alien event, even though we think we are exempt from being contaminated by these events which seem to unfold according to unknown plans.
It so happens that this conflict within humanity, in its contagion, can gradually turn us into warrior practitioners of different kinds, cautious and distrustful, to the point that we may even be surprised by the reason for this attitude.
But humanity –like life in unity- in the face of any event… in the exercise of life, becomes porous to all creatures.
The Call to Prayer warns us about the attitudes and responses that can make and turn us into warriors, into combatants, into those who dominate… due to this growing contagion that increasingly surrounds us.
And so, conversion must be an on-going process, with a purifying purpose, in the face of the unexpected emergence of warlike, combative attitudes.
And, consequently, when they occur, to have the necessary composure, first to recognize them… and lessen any possible violent responses.
And at the same time, to be a balm to others who, contaminated by this power, try to present it as something… necessary.
The Call to Prayer encourages us, in the face of these events, towards certain attitudes –beyond remaining vigilant and cultivating a conciliatory spirit-… it directs us to behaviours and attitudes of art.
That is, to approach any activity with an artistic attitude, with the attitude of highlighting the virtuous, the impeccable; with the willingness to create environments, moments of joy, of delight: specific moments that enable us to live in a way that protects us from that contagion, from that warning. To remain in Clemency, in Mercy, and everlasting Goodness.
And this artistic disposition can provide the answer to the common question: “And what to do in the face of all this…?”.
“Art”.
That quality, which has been highlighted at other times as the benchmark for intentions and achievements, requires –and this is what the call conveys to us- an artistic disposition.
Usually, “that business of art” has been and is increasingly relegated to fragments that, obviously, are becoming ever more uncertain and atypical because they have lost their combative edge: the one demanded by the present.
And although art can also be contaminated, it is hardly ever abolished by war.
Although the memory of "The Art of War" is still fresh in our minds, that expression is no longer used, yet the desire to achieve a resplendent victory with an impeccable strategy still beats within the powerful and the warrior. In other words, to elevate it to the realm of art.
Manuals, books, and documents illustrate this "Art of War".
And it is precisely there that we must reclaim art as an expression of the being’s love.
Art, like the precision of the gentle aroma of the moment.
Art as "artistic embodiment", since we are a design of art and life is a work of art.
And so, in whatever form it takes, the artistic perspective is evoked: in body language, in dressing, in adornment, in the way one walks, in food, in words…
The Prayerful Call warns us that we cannot allow ourselves to be drawn into the art of war or into the sectarian art of a select few, but rather to regain our creative sense of art. And to see, from the meticulous structural art of our form and of different forms of life, down to the smallest act of doing, responding, or listening.
And through art –the Creator Mystery also reminds us- "the essential creative attitude".
We have been created and we are creators. Therefore, with that support of art, with that attention to the permeability of contagion, with that care in the exercise of Clemency, Mercy, and Goodness, with those appropriate responses to warlike attitudes, with those positions of dissolving the art of war and delving into the spontaneous sample of art, we must add –which rather than an addition, it is a necessary continuity- that creativity, that touch… that modifies, amplifies, expands any habitual attitude towards art.
Because, yes, I can create a song, a poem, a floral arrangement, a delicious dish… but, alongside all that artistry, one must incorporate that “personal touch”…; that singularity, as a singular expression of who we are within a unity: Mystery.
Believing, recreating, and being creative… and being a consequence of the Creative Mystery –because that is our nature- entails that singular originality which, at least for some time, for an instant, remains and repeats itself, yet always harbours the longing to know that there is something more.
That “something more” which, by being creative through art –“the art of living”-brings us closer… allow the word “closer”, but it would be better to say that it makes us vibrate more deeply with our nature as Creative Mystery.
With the awareness of knowing, as a practice –“with the awareness of knowing, as a practice”- that there is always a detail missing, or that there is room for a detail, we will have that support in creativity, in the created.
And once the artistic attitude has been theoretically completed, one must ask oneself: “But there is one detail to consider”; it may emerge instantly, later, or at a later time, but the transcendent importance of detail means that the realization of being as art –as creative art, as creation, of the Creative Mystery-… causes our vibration of consciousness to increase, amplify, and attune itself to this expanding and seemingly unstoppable universe.
